Ikuka Safari Camp

Ikuka Safari Camp, which opened in July 2016, is located in Ruaha National Park. It stands out due to its spectacular perch atop the Mwagusi Escarpment in southern Tanzania. This owner-run and managed camp offers expansive and breath-taking views that set it apart from other accommodations in the area. The camp provides an intimate, personalized, and experienced stay that can only be found in smaller accommodations in the African bush.

The seven guest bandas at Ikuka Safari Camp are designed to harmonize with the natural surroundings, constructed from stone, thatch, and natural wood. Guests can wake up to the sounds of nature from the comfort of a large, cozy bed. The en-suite bathrooms feature a spacious stone vanity with two vessel sinks, a shower, and a toilet. Start your day with a cup of coffee or tea on your private elevated wooden deck that surrounds the entire banda, or relax in the comfortable sitting area, both of which offer breath-taking views of Ruaha’s wilderness.
